A few days ago in the London Makeup Institute (our IMA Center in Greece) a new group of 15 makeup students, received their IMA Foundation Level Diploma. Beryl Barnard, co-founder and Chief Examiner of the International Makeup Association traveled to Thessaloniki, to evaluate the talent and knowledge of the artists.
Barnard has over forty years of experience within the fashion and beauty industry and has become one of the matriarchs of make-up in the United Kingdom. She started out as a beauty therapist, then a make-up artist, before moving on to becoming the founder and owner of a Beauty and Make-up school in London.
Beryl has now brought her expertise to overseeing the quality and control within the IMA. She aims to give something back to the Industry she loves, by maintaining the high standards that set artist apart from just good – to exceptional.
